Open Tuesday through Sunday with late hours on Thursdays until 9 PM. Closed Mondays. Last entry is thirty minutes before closing.

All ticket prices are set and sold by the museum directly via nasjonalmuseet.no. This page is informational.

A standard ticket covers the full museum, including the Munch Hall and the temporary exhibitions in the Light Hall. The museum sells tickets at the door and on its official site — entry is rarely sold out, but Saturday afternoons can queue.

Free admission to all visitors after 5 PM on the last Thursday of every month. Late opening until 9 PM.

The museum offers an annual pass at 600 NOK that covers unlimited entry, member previews, and a 10% store discount — cheaper than three single visits. Issued by the museum directly.
